The Emergency Preparedness Museum would be nothing without the gang of volunteers!

What does the volunteer group do?

The volunteer group meets at least one evening a week at the museum. And during the day for those who have the opportunity. And on weekends. And when needed.

Small and large projects are tackled. They are built. Sweeped. Renovated. Lifted. Pulled. Scraped. The impossible becomes possible. There is not a thing that the volunteers have not been in and pulled. The expertise is enormous because everyone brings their professional experience to the volunteer assignment. There are gunpowder experts, weapons experts, uniform experts, vehicle experts, radio and communication experts, fire protection experts, sewage experts... and when we say that they are experts, we really mean it. The expertise of the volunteers at the Emergency Preparedness Museum beats most.

What unites us all at the Emergency Preparedness Museum is that we are nice to each other. It is a group that enjoys being together, that respects each other and we all stick together.
