Join us for a tour of Sweden's only preserved radar facility from the days of the Cold War.
In the unique radar facility in Laröd you can experience the reality of the Cold War just as it was during the Cold War. The Cold War radar in Laröd has been preserved down to the smallest detail. Through extensive and time-consuming efforts, the equipment in Laröd has been restored and participants can, unless the almost seventy-year-old machines malfunction, learn about how the reconnaissance was carried out.
Note: Walking in relatively demanding terrain is required to participate in the viewing.
Program
Meeting at 18:45 at the parking lot on Södra Kustvägen in Hittarp below Serpentinvägen where the guide will meet you. Departure from Södra Kustvägen at 19:00. The tour ends around 20:30.
