Join us on an exciting walk above and below ground in World War II bunkers that would defend Helsingborg's - and Sweden's - borders in the event of war.

Program (applies to all bunker hikes)

At 5:45 PM - meeting at Margaretaplatsen in Helsingborg where the guide will meet and ticket inspection will take place. NOTE! Meeting point opposite Drottninggatan 63-65, at the benches at Margaretaplatsen.

6:00 PM - the guided tour begins. The guide talks about Helsingborg's city defenses as we move from bunker to bunker and look into several of the preserved bunkers as well as the shelter tunnels at Hälsovägen and the Terrace Stairs at Kärnan. When the guided tour is over, participants will know how the mile-long defense line along Helsingborg and inside the city center would be used to resist enemy attacks.

We will have a short break during the screening. Please bring your own coffee for the break!

Approx. 9:00 PM - The guided tour ends below the Terrace Steps.

Tips for those who are going on a bunker tour

• Choose clothes according to the weather, comfortable shoes and bring your own flashlight.

• The show is never cancelled, regardless of the weather.

• Purchased tickets cannot be cancelled or rebooked.

• Note: The guided tour starts at Margaretaplatsen and ends at Kärnan. If you have driven to the hike, it is advisable to park somewhere halfway between the start and finish.

• Keep in mind that the bunker walk goes up and down stairs and slopes, in and out of bunkers, and that we finally end the tour below the Terrace Stairs.
