🎭 My name is Ritva – summer theater at the Emergency Preparedness Museum
From July 10 to July 26, 2026, the site-specific monologue My Name Is Ritva will be performed, written and directed by EliSophie Andrée and performed by Felicia Sjöström Nilsson.
The performance tells the story of 17-year-old Ritva, a Finnish war child who in 1946 suddenly learns that she must leave her new life in Sweden – the family she loves and her first love – to return to a Finland where she has forgotten the language and does not know what awaits her.
The play is performed at the Emergency Preparedness Museum, at the otherwise closed playhouse Sonja, whose exterior the audience can exclusively see during the performance – a unique theatrical experience in a historic setting.
