Beredskapsmuseet is Sweden’s only museum in an underground military structure from World War II: Battery Helsingborg.
The museum consists of

  • One of the battery’s four underground bunkers, built in 1940, still

    containing the 29 ton heavy gun Maja, The Bofors-made gun could

    reach targets up to 24000 meters from its position in Djuramåsa.

  • The battery’s underground command bunker with exhibits about WW II.

  • The Gun Hall, containing heavy equipment, such as tanks and

    Bofors artillery.

  • Sweden’s largest small arm’s museum exhibition.

  • Café and shop.
